SMILE DESIGN DENTAL PRACTICE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support dentists with chairside care in a premium, technology-driven practice. You will help deliver high-quality treatments while ensuring a comfortable, memorable patient experience.

The role requires weekend availability and the ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. No prior experience is necessary as on-the-job training is provided to help you grow with the practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside for general, cosmetic, surgical and other dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms with high-tech equipment (intraoral scanners, digital X-ray units, CAD/CAM systems).
• Take digital X-rays, photographs and 3D scans as needed.
• Maintain infection control and sterilisation protocols.
• Manage dental materials, instruments and advanced dental technology.
• Accurately update patient records in practice management software and coordinate with dental labs.
• Monitor and restock clinical supplies and materials.
• Operate and troubleshoot digital equipment and software.

Clinical Duties:

1. Assist dentists chairside for general, cosmetic, surgical and all dental-related procedures.
2. Prepare treatment rooms with required high-tech equipment (intraoral scanners, digital X-ray units, CAD/CAM systems).
3. Assist dentists in taking digital X-rays, photographs and 3D scans.
4. Maintain stringent infection control and sterilisation protocols.
5. Manage dental materials, instruments and advanced dental technology.

Patient Care:

1. Greet patients with professionalism and warmth.
2. Provide reassurance and clear explanations of procedures.
3. Monitor patient comfort; offer amenities such as blankets, headphones, and neck pillows.
4. Give detailed post-op care instructions.

Administrative and Technical Support:

1. Accurately update and maintain patient records in practice management software.
2. Coordinate with dental labs.
3. Monitor and restock clinical supplies and materials.
4. Operate and troubleshoot digital equipment and software.
