Job summary

Manfield Employment Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Shift Analyst for a chemical plant on Jurong Island. You will operate plant processes and equipment according to the operation plan and manuals, ensuring safe, compliant performance.

You will patrol the plant, sample products, evaluate processes, and report any deviations. You will also assist in daily maintenance planning and support quality control and maintenance teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical plant.
• Possess basic knowledge of maintenance, chemical engineering and analytical procedures.
• Experience in operation via DCS systems is advantageous.
• Will ing to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
• Will ing to work in Jurong Island.

Responsibilities

• Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/instructions.
• Operate the process equipments at site in accordance with operation plan.
• Take measures to improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality after approval of shift senior technician.

• Take a sampling for analysis of products and process evaluation.
• Report all incidents, near misses, deviation from plan and take part in further investigation when required.
• Assist in coordination of daily maintenance planning, and participate in maintenance activities and shutdown/start-up of sections.
• Provide support for maintenance group /quality control group, if any problem arises.
• Work as shift Analyst , when designed by supervisors
• Perform the role as an auxiliary fire Fighter
