Job summary

DXC Technology Singapore is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage and support multi-database environments including Oracle, MS SQL Server, MariaDB, and related DBaaS configurations. You will coordinate with application teams and vendors to ensure high availability, performance, and secure database operations across SIT, UAT, and Production stages.

The role requires 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in database administration with MS SQL Server and Windows/Azure environments.
• Experience with Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB is advantageous.
• Ability to plan, implement, monitor, and harden database security and capacity.
• Strong coordination with customers, project managers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide Oracle, OGG, MS SQL Server, MariaDB administration and support.
• Document and implement standards to monitor capacity and performance.
• Coordinate with customers and project managers for infrastructure setup.
• Plan upgrades and patches; manage backups and recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot application/database issues and coordinate vendor support.
• Install, configure, and support SIT/UAT/Production database environments.
• Manage day-to-day database backup operations.
