Job summary

HTX is Singapore's Science and Technology agency that develops transformative, operationally-ready AI solutions for homeland security. You will design, build and deploy AI tools to detect anomalies and predict risks in complex data, turning insights into cloud-hosted, self-service toolkits for Home Team officers.

We expect a degree in a quantitative field and hands-on Python/SQL experience, with 2–3 years for Data Scientist or 5+ for Senior roles, plus Docker, Kubernetes and ML frameworks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Applied AI, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related quantitative field
• Data Scientist: 2-3 years hands-on experience building and deploying production ML/AI models
• Senior Data Scientist: 5+ years of relevant experience with leadership and production AI systems
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and modern ML/DL frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face)
• Hands-on with ML/DL libraries, LLM serving and LLM application or agent frameworks
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, MLOps/LLMOps pipelines (e.g. MLflow, Kubeflow), CI/CD, API development and cloud-native model serving
• Experience building data or AI products for multiple user groups is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced methods to detect anomalies and risk signals across tabular, time-series, text, image data
• Apply knowledge graphs, link analysis and entity resolution to uncover relationships and coordinated behavior
• Build agentic workflows to gather context and assemble evidence with human oversight
• Productise methods into modular, reusable toolkits (APIs, low-code interfaces, analytic workspaces)
• Set up evaluation, drift monitoring, retraining and management of model quality with explainability
