Job summary

GoPay's LLM team seeks a Senior Data Scientist to build a multilingual model focused on Bahasa Indonesia and regional languages. You will design datasets, pre-training, fine-tuning, and alignment, collaborating with product and engineering to ship safe LLM-powered features.

You will own data annotation, quality control, and evaluation, ensure scalable processes, and contribute to production deployments. A Master’s/PhD and strong Python + PyTorch/TensorFlow skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in LLM, DL, NLP, CV, or Voice.
• Proficient in data preprocessing, training, evaluation, and optimisation.
• Experience deploying DL models in production.
• Strong communication and ability to write technical documentation.
• Master’s or PhD in CS/DS/AI; Bahasa Indonesia knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform data annotation and labeling based on provided guidelines.
• Validate language accuracy, grammar, and contextual relevance.
• Review annotated datasets to identify and correct errors.
• Ensure consistency and quality across large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine annotation processes.
• Provide feedback to improve annotation guidelines and workflows.
