Job summary

Shopee Singapore Private Limited is seeking an experienced ML/AI engineer to lead the continuous pre-training and post-training of large language models for vertical domains. You will design autonomous agents to retrieve, extract, and synthesize knowledge from multilingual data, and develop RL-based post-training methods to boost domain-specific QA and reasoning capabilities.

You will also build multimodal LLM applications for content generation and semantic recall, and design end-to-end agent

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in CS/NLP/AI or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of full-time industry experience in LLM/ML engineering for vertical domains.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale model continuous pre-training (Dense and/or MoE).
• Experience designing autonomous agent systems for automated knowledge retrieval and synthesis.
• Experience fine-tuning/deploying multimodal large models with production impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-training and post-training of LLMs for vertical domains.
• Design and build autonomous agents that retrieve and synthesize domain knowledge.
• Develop RL-based post-training methods to improve domain-specific QA and reasoning.
• Build multimodal LLM applications for content generation and recall.
• Design end-to-end agent workflows integrating query understanding and content generation.
• Create generative representation-learning pipelines for downstream models.
• Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into scalable model training and systems.
