Job summary

Amplify Health is seeking a Data Scientist to design core metrics and the analytics framework for our claims data analytics product used in provider management. You will translate business logic into well-governed metric definitions and collaborate with engineering to maintain the semantic layer.

The role focuses on analytics storytelling for dashboards and evaluating analytics agents with the ML team. Ideal candidates have 6–9 years in data science or analytics, strong Python/PySpark production

Qualifications

6–9 years of data science or analytics experience.
Experience designing metrics frameworks and analytics narratives that can be built into product dashboards.
Experience partnering with engineering teams on semantic layers or metric definitions in a modern data stack.

Responsibilities

Own the design of core business metrics and the analytics framework used across our claims data analytics product for provider management.
Translate business logic into clear, well-governed metric definitions and partner with engineering to maintain the semantic layer.
Design the analytics narrative behind each dashboard for our application engineering team to build out in-product.
Define evaluation business cases for our analytics agents and run evaluations against criteria.
