Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a Data Scientist for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Singapore. You will design data pipelines, develop production-ready ML models, and collaborate with data engineers to ensure scalable analytics across the platform.

The role requires 8+ years in data science, hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS, and familiarity with IoT data or sensors. You will document decisions and help transfer capabilities to the team as projects mature.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data science.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines and backend services powering data ingestion, processing, and access across the platform.
• Develop and maintain data models and ML models, production-ready and aligned with platform use cases.
• Assess available data to form hypotheses for data science and ML use cases, guiding data collection and architecture.
• Support hypothesis testing across candidate use cases to identify potential for further development.
• Collaborate with the data team on analytics layer to ensure models and outputs are accessible to downstream consumers.
• Produce documentation covering model development decisions and pipeline design.
• Progressively transfer data science and ML modelling capability within the team.
