MAVENTREE TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned data governance professional to drive and shape data standards, personal data protection, and data security across the organisation. You will engage with business teams and external partners to align data strategy with strategic goals.

You will lead governance activities, collaborate across stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant data protection frameworks while advancing a data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant discipline.
• 7+ years experience in data governance, data protection or data security.
• Experience in formulating data policies, standards and guidelines.
• Experience in information lifecycle management and data modelling.
• Experience conducting risk assessments or IT/business audits.
• Experience handling and reporting data incidents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct regular programme activities and assessments for Data Security Risk Management and Personal Data Protection.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to structure data sharing with safeguards.
• Support Data Incident Management and Enterprise Data Risk Management.
• Review and drive awareness of data standards, policies and frameworks.
• Act as liaison for Data Protection queries with Government Agencies.
• Guide integration of data protection and privacy procedures into day-to-day operations.
