Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd, branded as UOB, is seeking a Senior Data Platform & Analytics Engineer to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of enterprise data platforms across markets in a collaborative setting.

You will partner with analysts, risk, governance and technology teams to ensure scalable data foundations, strong governance, and practical data engineering practices, while mentoring colleagues to raise engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Experience in enterprise-scale data platform projects (EDW, datamarts, data lakes).
• Strong SQL, data modelling and ETL/ELT performance optimization knowledge.
• Experience in multi-stakeholder delivery with Technology, Business and Analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end build and evolution of enterprise-scale GWB data platforms.
• Contribute to data modelling standards, transformation logic and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Business, Technology and Data Governance to enable self-service analytics.
• Support governance, regulatory readiness and cross-border data use with clear documentation.
