Job summary

Health Promotion Board in Singapore is seeking an analytical professional to drive data-driven health promotion strategies. You will work in the REM division to generate actionable insights from diverse datasets, apply advanced analytics and ML methods, and translate findings into practical programmes and policies.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, designing studies, preparing data, and delivering robust analytics that inform national health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in statistics, data analytics, social sciences, life sciences, public health, or related quantitative discipline
• 2–6 years of practical experience working with data as an analyst or in a related role
• Experience applying statistical techniques and/or machine learning methods to real-world datasets
• Programming in at least one language (R or Python); familiarity with Databricks, SparkR or PySpark is advantageous
• Familiarity with statistical software (SPSS, STATA) is a bonus
• Strong communication and Project management skills
• Independent and collaborative work style with curiosity and initiative

Responsibilities

• Generate actionable insights through advanced analytics on diverse datasets
• Develop and apply predictive models and segmentation approaches to inform programme targeting
• Set up behavioural experiments and programme evaluations and analyze data to translate insights into practice
• Create data-driven narratives for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners on analytics initiatives
• Contribute to data pipelines and feature engineering for scalable analytics
