Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale data foundations supporting the business. You will work on data warehouse architecture, pipelines, data quality, and analytics enablement across the organization.

This role requires designing robust data models, scalable pipelines, and ensuring trusted data consumption. You will collaborate with analytics, BI, product, engineering, and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of Data Engineering experience building large-scale data systems.
• Expert knowledge of data warehousing methodologies (Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake, Data Vault).
• Hands-on with big data stacks: Hive, Spark, Flink, Kafka.
• Familiarity with OLAP engines and lakehouse tech: ClickHouse, StarRocks, Greenplum, Iceberg, Hudi.
• Strong SQL and ETL/ELT optimization.
• Experience with Airflow and dbt to manage data pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve scalable data warehouse architecture and models.
• Develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Migrate and consolidate legacy pipelines and platforms.
• Establish data definitions, metrics, and modeling standards.
• Build data quality frameworks with testing and monitoring.
• Partner with Analytics, BI, Product, Engineering, and business teams.
• Improve data discoverability with certified datasets and docs.
• Contribute to engineering best practices through reviews and mentoring.
