Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build large-scale data solutions across its suite of apps. You will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to enable data-driven product growth and user experiences for billions of users and partners.

You will guide data architecture, logging, and governance, delivering scalable data models and dashboards while ensuring data quality and security across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 4+ years of data-focused work experience.
• Experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and own scalable data architectures for large-scale projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to define data needs.
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and data models across multiple domains.
• Define data quality, security, and governance standards for owned datasets.
• Build datasets and visualizations that support business and product decisions.
• Mentor teammates and drive data-driven thinking across teams.
• Manage SLAs for datasets and ensure reliable data delivery.
