Job summary

SimplifyNext is a Singapore-headquartered digital engineering firm hiring a Data Engineer to design, build and deploy scalable data lakehouse platforms. You will architect end-to-end pipelines across Databricks, Spark, and cloud services, ensuring data quality and governance for production environments.

You’ll work with AI-assisted delivery and collaborate with architects, analysts and engineers to deliver enterprise-scale data infrastructure for clients across the region.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering building production pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python for data processing.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, and lakehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with DevOps for data and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Build data lakehouse solutions using Iceberg/Delta Lake.
• Define data quality validation and governance standards.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts and engineers on delivery.
