Job summary

Keyrus is an international consulting firm that focuses on data intelligence and digital solutions. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer Consultant to support enterprise data transformation initiatives in Singapore, developing and optimizing data pipelines and scalable data solutions for diverse clients.

You will work hands-on with Databricks, PySpark, and SQL, while ensuring governance, security, and performance across cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Platform delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Python (PySpark), and SQL.
• Experience reviewing solution designs, data models, and enterprise-scale data pipelines.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess data engineering deliverables, including data pipelines, data models, architecture designs, and technical documentation.
• Provide independent technical validation and recommendations to ensure alignment with business and technology objectives.
• Ensure data solutions comply with governance, security, scalability, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners to resolve technical issues and implementation challenges.
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement across data platforms and processes.
• Support project governance, acceptance reviews, and technical sign-off activities.
