Job summary

Keyrus Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer Consultant to drive enterprise data transformation. You will develop and optimize data pipelines, enable scalable analytics, and support reporting across the organisation.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering or related fields, hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and SQL, and the ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer Consultant to support enterprise data transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing data pipelines, enabling scalable data solutions, and supporting analytics and reporting needs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess data engineering deliverables, including data pipelines, data models, architecture designs, and technical documentation.
• Provide independent technical validation and recommendations to ensure alignment with business and technology objective.
• Ensure data solutions comply with governance, security, scalability, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners to resolve technical issues and implementation challenges.
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement across data platforms and process.
• Support project governance, acceptance reviews, and technical sign-off activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Strong experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Data Platform delivery.
• Hands-on experience of Databricks, Python (PySpark), and SQL
• Experience reviewing solution designs, data models, and enterprise-scale data pipelines
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders
• Prior experience working with consulting firms, system integrators, or large transformation programmes is highly preferred.
