Job summary

NHG Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Singapore to design and implement scalable enterprise data solutions. You will build pipelines, data models, and platforms using Databricks, SQL, and IDMC to ensure reliable, secure data delivery across the organisation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive governance, automation, and platform modernization while maintaining operational stability and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Certifications in Databricks, Cloud Data Engineering, Informatica, or data platforms are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and transformations using Databricks, SQL, and IDMC.
• Develop and maintain data models, fact and dimension tables, Delta tables, and enterprise data structures for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality through validations, reconciliation, data integrity checks, source-to-target verification, and automated quality controls.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot pipeline failures, perform root cause analysis, and maintain runbooks and documentation.
• Maintain compliance with enterprise standards, security, code quality, testing, deployment, and governance controls; participate in peer reviews.
• Collaborate with analysts, project managers, platform teams, vendors, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and drive improvements.
