Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, productionise and operate data pipelines on the SWDA platform using AWS and Databricks. You will lead data ingestion, transformation, quality and governance across trusted pipelines for analytics and ML workloads.

The role requires strong Python, PySpark and SQL skills, production-grade Databricks experience, and ability to design lakehouse patterns and cost-aware solutions in a government-adjacent

Qualifications

• Strong Python, PySpark and SQL capability.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark and Delta Lake for production-scale data engineering.
• Hands-on AWS data engineering with S3, Glue, Lake Formation, IAM, KMS, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, CloudWatch, Redshift/M.SKinesis.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of batch and streaming data pipelines across AWS and Databricks.
• Design Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers and reusable data products.
• Implement reliable ingestion from databases, files, APIs and streams.
