Job summary

UNISYNC SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. seeks a senior data engineering leader to design and implement large-scale data solutions in banking environments.

You will drive platform modernization, migration, and regulatory initiatives while guiding technical teams and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure robust data delivery. Key focus areas include data pipelines, ETL platforms, and governance, with emphasis on AML, Fraud, MAS regulations and BCBS239 data lineage requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Python, PySpark, SQL, Hadoop HDFS and Spark expertise.
• Experience with Talend, DataStage or Informatica ETL platforms.
• Proven technical leadership of large data engineering teams.
• Experience in Teradata-to-Hadoop/Data Lake migration and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale data pipelines and ETL frameworks.
• Lead Teradata-to-Hadoop/Data Lake migrations and platform modernization.
• Manage enterprise ETL platforms including migration and tuning.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews and production support.
• Design data architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and orchestration with Autosys/Control-M/Jenkins/Git.
• Oversee data migration, capacity planning, and high-volume production support.
• Deliver regulatory data initiatives aligned with AML, MAS and BCBS239.
