Job summary

Newbridge, a global consulting firm, seeks a senior data engineer to build governed data pipelines and AI-ready assets. You will collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to deliver end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and semantic layers across multiple domains.

You will own data quality, lineage, and privacy governance, ensuring audit-readiness while aligning with PDPA and APAC data residency rules. This high-impact role requires strong leadership and client-facing capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of hands-on production data engineering and end-to-end delivery experience.
• Ability to manage client-facing stakeholders and drive data initiatives.
• Experience building governed, audit-ready data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate end-to-end ingestion pipelines from ERP and various systems into a governed lakehouse.
• Own transformation, modelling, and semantic layer to ensure consistent business logic.
• Prepare and serve AI-ready data—curated datasets, embeddings, and RAG corpora.
• Own data quality, master data/entity resolution, and end-to-end lineage for audit readiness.
• Embed governance, privacy, and security by design across data residency and cross-border rules.
• Build reusable accelerators and set engineering standards for the practice.
