Job summary

Slalom is a global data and AI consulting leader hiring a Senior Consultant – Data Engineer in Singapore. You will guide architectural delivery, lead engineering teams, and partner with clients to design secure, scalable data platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will build production‑ready ML pipelines, deploy GenAI solutions, and ensure data quality, governance, and observability while collaborating with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in data engineering and modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong Python engineering skills and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience leading technical delivery workstreams and mentoring engineers.
• Experience designing and implementing AI and ML data platforms.
• Experience implementing model monitoring and observability capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire engineering teams while setting high technical standards.
• Design and deliver secure, scalable cloud data platforms.
• Modernise data platforms and real‑time systems using AWS, Azure, and GCP; build production‑ready ML pipelines.
• Deploy AI solutions with diverse teams; develop GenAI and LLM‑powered applications.
• Deliver GenAI solutions with governance and robust monitoring for data and models.
• Lead client engagements and provide trusted technical guidance.
