Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer for a 12-month contract, based in Singapore. You will design and manage Edge/POP infrastructure, data center space and power layouts, and collaborate on floor plans to accommodate optical, backbone, IP and compute needs.

The role requires 8+ years in electrical engineering with data center experience, strong AutoCAD/BIM tool proficiency, and willingness to travel. PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering with data center design.
• Experience with Telecom Central Offices, Data Centers, collocations, and remote hut environments.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoDesk tools, BIM 360, and Blue Beam.
• A Professional Engineer license or local equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of optical network design, installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional space, power, cabling, and infrastructure requirements for Edge networks.
• Design and plan electrical and mechanical infrastructure for data center sites.
• Collaborate to design Edge/POP site floor plans for network functions.
• Deliver SOW Engineering design packages for Edge/POP sites per ENS standards.
• Contribute to documentation, automation, and operational processes.
• Ensure infrastructure readiness for current and future POP sites.
• Lead retrospective reviews to feed future project roadmaps.
• Support site acceptance for new POP locations and travel as needed.
