Job summary

StarHub in Singapore seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the Data Platform Engineering and Operations for the DXP Data organization. You will own AWS, Snowflake, and SageMaker-based environments, drive automation, reliability, and security, and partner with cross‑functional teams to implement scalable platform capabilities for data and AI workloads.

The role requires 8–10 years in cloud/platform engineering, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise with IaC, monitoring, and cost

Qualifications

8–10 years in cloud/platform engineering or similar
Hands-on with AWS-based data platforms
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams
Experience with IAM, VPC, encryption, and governance

Responsibilities

Own DXP Data Platform infrastructure across AWS, Snowflake, and SageMaker
Lead design, build, and automation of data platform engineering and DevOps
Prototype and rollout new platform capabilities across AWS, Snowflake, SageMaker
Enforce governance, security, and compliance standards for cloud infra
Drive monitoring, cost optimization, and performance tuning
Manage hybrid team of internal engineers and vendor resources
Coordinate roadmaps with Data Engineering, Architecture, Security, and IT teams
