Job summary

Amplify Health is seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Health Specialist to shape the analytic vision of offerings and lead a team of data scientists and engineers. You will align productization and AI strategies with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-impact analytic products.

The role sits in the Data & Analytics team, coordinating with product management, tech, commercial, operations, legal & risk, and AI leads to deliver best-in-class analytics solutions for healthcare and wellness

Qualifications

• Proven success developing healthcare analytics products, esp. with large data in cloud environments.
• Leadership of end-to-end product design from ideation to delivery.
• Knowledge of wellness data, wearables data, and health insurance data; interest in AI and unstructured data.
• Experience leading teams, ideally including offshore members.
• Ability to translate client/internal feedback into improved delivery.
• Rigorous problem-solving and continuous improvement using Agile.

As a Senior Data & Analytics Health Specialist, you will be responsible for developing the analytic vision of our offerings, as well as leading a team of data scientists and data engineers in executing that vision, aligning to the productization and AI strategies of Amplify Health. This role sits within the Data & Analytics team and is a vital link between technical expertise, product development, and operations. It requires co-ordination between product management, tech, commercial, operations, legal & risk, and AI leads to ensure development of best of breed analytical products.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the health analytical landscape to inform the product development process,identifyingareas in which data and analytics can enhance and support the product offering for a competitive advantage
• Assistproduct owners in formulation of the product solution road map by engaging with both commercial and technical stakeholders, balancingcomplexityand feasibility of buildrelativeto client value and market requirements
• Lead the conceptualisation, design, andmaintenance of the analytical architecture and product specifications, for both internal and external visibility. This involves collaboration and co-ordination with technical experts and stakeholders across the business
• Oversight ofproduct deliveryoutcomesand planningby workingwith our market leads,delivery teams,and project managers, including Responsible Use of AI evaluations
• Creation of internal and external documentation, includingassistancein marketing material and presentations,demonstratingtechnical knowledge, clientvalueand customer journeys
• Assistin the creation of an enabling environment for product delivery through the adoption of governance processes,standardsand frameworks
• Communication across the organisation from staff to executive level

Experience andQualifications:

• Proven successdevelopinghealthcare analyticsproducts, especially withlarge amountsof data in cloud environments.Experiencein the areas ofdisease/ population health, programreporting,and healthcare ROI calculationspreferred.
• Leadership ofend-to-end product design process fromideationto deliveryandmaintenance
• Knowledge ofwellness data, wearables data, and health insurance data,as well as an interest in emerging AI technologiesand analysis of unstructured data (chat, photos)
• Experience leading teams, ideally including off-shore team members
• Ability to takeclient and internalfeedback to improved delivery and convert into champions
• Rigorous ability to problem-solve andtocontinually improve teams, including via Agile

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, healthcare related, or similar.
• A master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Extensive experience in healthcare analytics.
