Job description

1. Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen our in-house data analytics and business intelligence capabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders across Supply Chain Management (SCM), Manufacturing, Quality Assurance (QA), Finance and Business Development to transform operational data into meaningful business insights.

The role involves consolidating, cleansing and analysing data from multiple sources, including our Infor LN ERP system, databases and Excel worksheets, to improve data accuracy, automate reporting and support better business decisions.

The initial priority will be to support SCM in improving material planning, RFQ and procurement processes by reducing manual data consolidation and developing reliable analytical datasets and management dashboards.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Business Requirements Analysis: Engage stakeholders to understand business processes, identify operational challenges and translate requirements into practical data analytics solutions.

2. Data Collection & Integration: Extract, consolidate and integrate data from ERP systems, databases, Excel worksheets and other business applications.

3. Data Cleansing & Governance: Perform data validation, cleansing, transformation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability.

4. Business Intelligence & Reporting: Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, analytical models and management reports to support operational and management decision-making.

5. Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to reduce manual data preparation, automate repetitive reporting activities and improve operational efficiency.

6. SCM Analytics: Initially focus on material planning, inventory management, RFQ, procurement analysis, supplier performance and material shortage visibility.

7. Business Insights: Analyse operational trends, identify exceptions and root causes, and recommend improvements to business processes.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with MIS development teams to support data integration between Infor LN ERP, OneKinergy and other in-house applications, while progressively extending analytics capabilities across departments.

3. Job Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence or business data analysis.

• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, material planning or procurement environments is preferred.

Technical Competencies

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, data modelling and dashboard development.

• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, data extraction and data transformation.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query and complex data analysis.

• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems; knowledge of Infor LN ERP will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate, Python, AI/LLM-related experience or other data automation tools is advantageous.

• Good understanding of data governance, data quality management and reporting standards.

Business & Interpersonal Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data.

• Good understanding of business processes, preferably in manufacturing and supply chain operations.

• Ability to engage stakeholders, gather requirements and independently manage analytics projects.

• Strong communication and presentation skills to translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.

• Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently across multiple departments.
