Job summary

Sonova invites a Senior Data Analyst to design, build and manage reports used by stakeholders across the LGF unit, delivering insights to drive business decisions.

You will perform ad-hoc analyses, define KPIs, clean and integrate datasets, and present results to diverse audiences while mentoring junior colleagues in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with business data, reporting or analytics.
• Strong data visualization using PowerBI and Tableau; SQL knowledge beneficial.
• Excellent storytelling and communication in English; other languages a plus.

Senior Data Analyst

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll support the Lead Generation Factory with relevant reporting, data analysis, and insights while working closely with local and regional teams to drive Sonova's 2030 ambitions.

In this role, you will be in charge of:

• Design, build and manage a suite of reports used by stakeholders from different teams in the LGF unit.
• Perform independent ad-hoc analyses and comprehensive data deep-dives to answer relevant business questions.
• (Help) define relevant KPIs, tracking parameters and calculation methods to measure business performance more efficiently.
• Clean, filter, combine and integrate datasets to be used for analyses and reporting on the performance of the LGF unit.
• Design and provide solutions on data-related topics.
• Influence business decision with data.
• Manage the requirements of relevant stakeholders, including prioritization of tasks.
• Present analyses and results to relevant audiences.
• Lead data-related project independently.
• Assist and provide counsel to more junior team members

Your background:

• 5+ years of experience working with business data, reporting, or analytics with a major focus on data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau (inc SQL or other relevant langauges)
• Good understanding of data governance, data quality and data ownership principles
• Ability to define business rules, data definitions and quality checks with domain experts
• Working knowledge of reporting, analytics, master data or source system processes
• Great storytelling and communication skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, any other language is a plus
