Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore seeks a seasoned Enterprise Data & AI Architect to define and govern the data and AI architecture strategy across the bank. You will shape target-state blueprints for data mesh/lakehouse, ML operations, and scalable analytics to support business outcomes.

You will lead cross-domain reviews, collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams, and ensure designs meet privacy, risk, and resilience requirements across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in enterprise/solution architecture with at least 6 years leading data/AI architectures at scale.
• Proven ownership of enterprise data platform modernisation and MLOps across multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
• Strong grasp of data governance, lineage/metadata, model risk controls and privacy-by-design.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain target-state Data & AI architecture and roadmaps aligned to business strategy and regulatory obligations.
• Chair design reviews for cross-domain initiatives spanning channels, core banking, risk, finance and compliance.
• Publish standards for data modelling, eventing, ML lifecycle, feature stores and model risk controls.
• Guide solution architects to shape designs (batch/stream, APIs, real-time scoring, vector stores, feature pipelines).
• Ensure designs meet privacy, security and resilience requirements across jurisdictions.
• Drive adoption of reference architectures and reusable patterns.
