Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore seeks a Lead / Principal / Senior Cyber Threat Intel Analyst to identify, track, and analyse cyber threats targeting critical IT/OT systems in the land transportation sector. The role emphasizes active threat research and actionable monitoring strategies.

You will lead TI program development, manage threat research in the Asia-Pacific region, and drive detection engineering for proactive threat hunting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity with at least 4 years in Threat Intelligence, Advanced SOC Operations, or Incident Response.
• GIAC GCTI or CISSP certifications preferred.
• GCIH/GCFA/GREM or related GIAC certifications advantageous.
• Strong ability to mentor junior analysts and uplift SOC/CERT capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken communication for briefings to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of the Threat Intelligence function, including SOPs and CTI solutions.
• Conduct proactive threat research focusing on the Asia-Pacific region and ICS.
• Curate, validate, and maintain high‑fidelity monitoring lists and IOCs for SIEM/EDR/TA tools.
• Translate research into detection artefacts (YARA, Sigma, Snort) for proactive hunting.
• Act as Tier-3 intelligence lead during incidents, providing real-time threat context and attribution support.
• Monitor CVEs and provide risk-based assessments to patching and infrastructure teams.
• Map adversary behaviours to MITRE ATT&CK to identify visibility gaps.
• Produce high‑quality intelligence reports and monthly strategic summaries for management.
