Job summary

Qualifications

• Education in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience
• Possession of at least two professional certifications or industry-recognised qualifications related to cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge in open-source collection
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and malware behaviours
• Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Perform 24/7 threat collection and analysis to provide early warnings.
• Work closely with stakeholders to analyse malware samples.
• Procure, develop and implement technical solutions to enhance threat collection operations.
• Conduct research to keep pace with developments and maintain access to information sources.
• Provide guidance and advice to junior officers in the branch Challenge(s).
• Think out-of-the-box, improvising and adapting tools and techniques for effective threat collection operations that will provide enhanced early warning and situational awareness
