Job summary

MINDEF is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead 24/7 threat collection and analysis, delivering early warnings on emerging cyber threats and data breaches. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, guiding junior officers, and adapting tools for enhanced situational awareness.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in cybersecurity, strong knowledge of open-source collection and MITRE ATT&CK, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, CS, or CE.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Two professional cybersecurity certifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing projects meeting team operational needs in threat collection.
• Work with stakeholders to analyse malware samples.
• Procure, develop and implement technical solutions to enhance threat collection operations.
• Conduct research to stay updated and maintain access to information sources.
• Provide guidance to junior officers in the branch.
• Think creatively to adapt tools and techniques for improved early warning and situational awareness.
