Job summary

ANT Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Credit Approver to join our risk team. You will conduct in-depth credit reviews and analyses of corporate, institutional, and SME clients across the Asia region, approving deals within your delegated authority and advising on risk-adjusted structures.

You will collaborate with Business Units, Risk Management, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure robust credit decisions, monitor portfolios, and stay ahead of market developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (required)
• Professional qualifications (CFA, FRM, CPA) or advanced degree (preferred)
• 8+ years of regional Asia credit risk experience in a financial institution
• Proven exposure to corporate and institutional clients across multiple industries
• Strong track record in credit analysis and financial modelling across various sectors

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth credit reviews and analyses for corporate, institutional, and SME clients across the Asia Region
• Perform annual and new counterparty reviews, ensuring thorough assessment of creditworthiness
• Approve transactions within delegated approving authority or provide well-founded recommendations to credit approvers
• Address ad-hoc credit requests with timely and accurate analysis
• Collaborate with Business Units on structuring transactions to optimize risk-return profiles
• Review and advise on legal terms and documentation
• Evaluate new products and transactions, assessing credit implications and risk factors
• Provide general credit advice and analysis to support business decision-making
