Job summary

Lakeside Family Services invites an experienced Senior Counsellor to strengthen our clinical practice and service delivery, providing supervision and guidance to Counsellors while delivering counselling to individuals and families facing relationship, divorce, and parenting challenges.

You will lead clinical supervision, review casework, and contribute to program development, ensuring high-quality, evidence-informed services and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, or Graduate Diploma in Social Work or Counselling.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with families or children.
• Certificate in Supervision is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Counselling and clinical intervention for individuals, couples and families.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Counsellors.
• Facilitate divorce support and co-parenting interventions.
• Contribute to practice development and service improvement.
• Engage in team discussions and case consultations.
