Job summary

Care Corner in Singapore seeks a Senior / Assistant Senior Counsellor to lead counselling and case management for adults with mental health concerns and dementia. You will supervise interns and counsellors, conduct training, and engage with community and hospital partners to coordinate care.

The role requires a Master’s in Counselling, extensive clinical experience, and supervisory expertise, with SAC membership preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counselling or Counselling Psychology from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of community care/healthcare clinical experience, including at least 3 years working with mental health and/or dementia clients.
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in a second language is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in an evolving programme environment.
• Proven leadership experience; Clinical member of SAC; Preferably registered Clinical Supervisor of SAC.

Responsibilities

• Counselling and Case Management for adults 18+ with mental health conditions or dementia; manage highly complex or high-risk cases.
• Manage information and referrals for casework and counselling services.
• Provide second clinical opinion as a supervising counsellor for escalated cases.
• Conduct case conferences with community partners; coordinate with hospitals, GPs and polyclinics.
