Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in cost management, QS discipline, and strong leadership. This role emphasizes cross-disciplinary pricing, stakeholder collaboration, and ongoing process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction or Equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with stakeholder alignment.
• Experience in cost management and budgeting for large projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the continuous enhancement of cost management strategies and forecasting.
• Define project budgets and procurement strategies with the Project Manager.
• Prepare and review cost summaries and maintain up-to-date forecasts.
• Lead communications with stakeholders to establish budgets and procurement alignment.
• Develop Statements of Work for QS Consultants and assist other consultant SOWs.
• Ensure contracts, POs and agreements are issued and executed timely.
• Oversee validation, processing and tracking of payment claims with proper documentation.
• Manage variation/change processes and document cost adjustments.
• Supervise auditing of contractor claims and QS assessments; close final accounts and coordinate with Finance.
• Chair commercial meetings and provide guidance on contractual obligations.
• Regularly update stakeholders on commercial progress and developments.
• Leverage knowledge in civil/structural engineering, M&E and interior pricing to inform strategy.
