Job summary

Woh Hup Group is seeking an experienced strategist to spearhead strategic growth and corporate development initiatives. You will identify acquisitions, partnerships and new business avenues, conducting rigorous market and competitive analyses to define investment themes.

The role involves leading financial modelling, due diligence, and investment papers, while coordinating transaction execution and post-investment monitoring for a diversified portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering or related disciplines.
• CFA, CAIA, MBA or other relevant professional qualifications will be advantageous.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Corporate Development, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting, or Deal Advisory.
• Proven experience evaluating investments, acquisitions, strategic partnerships or new business opportunities.
• Experience managing or supporting due diligence and transaction execution processes.
• Exposure to real estate, infrastructure, construction, industrials, logistics or the broader built environment will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic growth opportunities including acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures and new business initiatives.
• Lead market, industry and competitive analyses to identify trends and investment themes.
• Evaluate expansion opportunities across markets, business lines and adjacent industries.
• Lead financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis for potential opportunities.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and prepare investment papers, Board presentations and recommendations.
• Support transaction structuring, execution, negotiations and post-investment monitoring.
• Support post-investment monitoring of acquisitions, partnerships and strategic holdings.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders and present findings to senior management and investment committees.
• Assist with sector mapping, strategic reviews and long-term planning activities as required.

• Support senior management in identifying and assessing strategic growth opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures and new business initiatives.

Special Projects
