Job summary

SPH Media is seeking a Senior/Corporate Counsel to join its legal team in Singapore. The role covers advisory across editorial, commercial, and corporate activities, with emphasis on media, technology, and data privacy issues.

The candidate should be a qualified lawyer with at least 5 years PQE in corporate and commercial law, and experience with tech and privacy regulations. This is a full-time, in-house position based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in Singapore with LLB.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Demonstrated experience in corporate and commercial law, with exposure to technology and data privacy regulations.
• Chinese language competence is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory services to internal stakeholders across editorial, sales, production, and corporate departments.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of commercial agreements and transactions.
• Advise on intellectual property rights, particularly within digital media platforms.
• Support strategic initiatives, including new product launches and digital transformation projects.
• Manage corporate secretarial duties for the Group's entities.
