Position Title: Senior Contracts Specialist
Location: Buona Vista, Singapore

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to support EPC project contracts throughout the project lifecycle. This role covers pre- and post-award contract activities, negotiations, administration, and closeout, primarily for medium-risk and mid-sized contracts. You will work closely with project and corporate teams while liaising with external contractors and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and manage contract logs and filing systems, both digital and hard copy

  • Support pre-client contract activities during FEED and proposal phases, including RFQs/RFPs for medium-risk contracts

  • Lead negotiations and manage medium-risk contracts; provide exposure to high-risk contracts

  • Draft internal approval sheets and obtain necessary approvals for contracts

  • Manage post-award subcontract activities, including notices, amendments, change requests, change orders, warranty claims, and contract closeouts

  • Generate and monitor commercial data sets for major and non-major packages, producing reports for decision-making

  • Establish high-quality cooperation within teams and foster a positive, collaborative work environment

  • Engage with external stakeholders and contractors for small to medium-sized contracts, developing insights and value-addition opportunities

  • Assist FPSO Project Contracts Manager or Corporate Contracts & Commercial Manager as required

  • Work independently with limited oversight while executing self-assigned tasks and supporting project goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s in Construction Law, Business Administration, or Economics is advantageous

  • Strong academic background in law and contract law preferred

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in contracts and/or commercial roles within EPC projects

  • Experience in technical, contractual, and commercial disciplines for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction projects

  • Offshore oil & gas industry or upstream oil & gas project delivery experience preferred

  • Strong organisational, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Ability to analyse large data sets, interpret patterns, and produce actionable insights

Additional Information

  • Reports administratively and functionally to the Contracts & Commercial Head of Department

  • Operational reporting to assigned line Contracts Manager
