Job summary

Seatrium Limited is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to align with Project Management on contract administration, identify risks, and drive successful project execution. You will negotiate terms, manage change orders, and coordinate with Procurement, Legal and vendors to protect revenue and ensure compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in business or related field, 10 years’ experience in contract management, and strong negotiation, analytical and drafting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or related disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a contract management role, contract administration, purchasing or contracting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Exemplifies knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance.
• Possesses superior attention to detail to spot inconsistencies in contracts.
• Ability in negotiating terms and drafting contracts.
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in Offshore, Engineering or Construction areas.

Responsibilities

• Align with Project Management on contract administration needs and requirements.
• Advise on contract deviations and negotiations with customers.
• Analyse contract terms for risks and opportunities; propose mitigating articles.
• Manage change order process from identification to resolution.
• Ensure contract documents and information are accurate and up-to-date.
• Oversee milestone and close-out activities and timely submission of deliverables.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely insurance coverage and certificates.
• Support negotiations of claims and variations with contractors and vendors.
