Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced contracts leader to guide and develop the contracts team. You will manage drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, while ensuring compliance with terms and company standards.

You will oversee tendering, bid development, and commercial oversight, collaborating with project managers and estimators to secure profitable projects and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.
• Proven track record in leading contract teams and managing tenders for large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction law, procurement practices, and industry standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the contracts team to achieve departmental and project goals.
• Allocate resources effectively and ensure high performance across contract administration and tendering functions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms.
• Oversee contract letters, registers, and records; manage tender preparation and submission.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve contractual issues and manage risks.
• Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and contract close-out.
• Engage stakeholders and represent the firm in negotiations and industry forums.
