Job summary

ClickHouse is expanding its Support Services team and seeks a Senior Consulting Engineer to deliver consultative support and hands-on engineering for enterprise customers globally.

You will work across consultative support, engineering, and support, handling L1–L3 cases when not on projects, travel up to 35% onsite, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to influence the roadmap and success of large-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Support, Technical Accounts Management, Engineering/SRE, and/or Project Management roles.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in implementing, operating, and/or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed DBMS.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as a service (EC2).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a team member on customer projects focusing on design, architecture, integration, implementation, and documentation.
• Provide case-initiated consultative support to strategic users and customers, assisting with implementation and production launches.
• Provide architectural, technical, and migration assistance, including hands-on tasks.
• Handle L1 to L3 cases and communications when not on projects.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to influence roadmaps and account plans.
• Develop content such as Public/Internal Documentation, Knowledge Base, and Reference Architectures.
• Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members.
• Be available for scheduling and on-call needs with up to 35% travel.
