Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing full-stack web applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern backend JS runtimes (Node.js/Deno).
• Familiarity with 3D graphics or computational geometry concepts is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills; able to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing the web-based 3D IFC model viewer, from architecture through to implementation.
• Exploring and evaluating relevant open-source libraries and tools (e.g. IFC parsers, WebGL frameworks).
• Implementing model navigation features (e.g. object selection, section cuts, and property inspection, etc.).
• Collaborating with backend engineers on server-side geometry processing and data APIs
• Optimising viewer performance when dealing with large, complex files
• Iterating on the viewer based on feedback from end users

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies, enabling them to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet our clients' needs.

What you will be working on

• Designing and developing the web-based 3D IFC model viewer, from architecture through to implementation
• Exploring and evaluating relevant open-source libraries and tools (e.g. IFC parsers, WebGL frameworks)
• Implementing model navigation features (e.g. object selection, section cuts, and property inspection, etc.)

What we are looking for
