Job summary

STEEL TEK PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan, oversee, and deliver complex construction and renovation projects from start to finish.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors, manage schedules, budgets and resources, and ensure safety and compliance on site. The role requires reading architectural and M&E drawings, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency in project management tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction, renovation, building, civil engineering or related industries.
• Proven experience managing construction projects from planning through completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project coordination and site management.
• Able to read and understand architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
• Good knowledge of project scheduling, cost control and contract administration.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD / project management software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and oversee construction and renovation projects from commencement to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage project schedules, manpower, materials and resources.
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to schedule.
• Review construction drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor project costs, variations, procurement and overall budget.
• Attend project and site meetings and follow up on outstanding matters.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and completion of works.
• Identify project risks and resolve site and coordination issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Prepare progress reports and update management/client on project status.
• Oversee testing, inspection, rectification, handover and project close-out.
