Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a skilled Planning Specialist to develop and manage project schedules and tender programmes in Singapore. The role involves critical path analysis, resource loading, and collaboration with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.

You will review tender documents, prepare narratives, and present programmes during interviews and reviews, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience on Singapore building or civil engineering projects, ideally with BCA registered A1/A2 contractors is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, milestones, and resource plans in line with requirements and contracts.
• Prepare tender programmes (critical path analysis, histograms, S-curves) and resource-loaded schedules.
• Review tender specs, drawings, methodologies and contractual requirements.
• Prepare programme narratives outlining sequencing, milestones, activities, and strategies.
• Present planning programmes during tender interviews and reviews.
• Maintain construction programmes including master and detailed schedules.
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to implement programmes.
• Evaluate time impact of design changes and site constraints on schedules.
• Analyze delays and prepare delay analyses with supporting documents.
• Identify risks and mitigation measures for construction sequences.
• Provide planning support to project teams and tender groups.
