Job summary

OKLY CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the daily activities of the Operations Department in Singapore.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Marketing on project execution, site surveys, and documentation, while maintaining safety and quality across sites and workshops. The role requires strong leadership, extensive construction experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Team leadership and strong interpersonal/written communication abilities.
• At least 10 years of construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily tasks in the Operations Department.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Marketing on project executions including site surveys, designs and documentation.
• Prepare method statements, safe work procedures, risk assessments, lifting plans and related documents; organize manpower and logistics for on-site delivery of equipment.
• Implement systems and liaise with customers to monitor site progress and workshop planning.
• Conduct frequent site inspections to ensure work aligns with scope and customer requirements; take corrective actions.
• Ensure supervisors/technicians submit service reports with pictures and checklists to customers and Operations Administration.
• Liaise with PEs and AEs to carry out designs, inspections and tests and submit drawings.
• Conduct user trainings and safety briefings and organize safety campaigns.
• Perform incident investigations and root cause analyses; prepare incident reports with photos.
• Manage training, productivity and well-being of Operations Department teams.
• Ensure equipment and workshop assets are accounted for and protected against loss/damage.
• Perform asset and inventory reconciliation and generate monthly reports for Management.
• Use ERP system to complete daily tasks and support system improvements.
• Ensure procedures, products and services comply with Company policies and regulations.
• Undertake additional tasks as required.
