Job summary

Currie & Brown seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of large-scale projects in Singapore. You will manage all on-site activities, ensure safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and high-quality outcomes, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects in Singapore.
• Experience managing projects within Data Centres, Industrial, Semiconductor, Commercial, Healthcare, or Mission Critical environments is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, contract administration, and sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through to project completion and handover.
• Develop and implement construction execution plans aligned with project objectives, programme, budget, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Monitor construction progress against programme and mitigate delays.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive site safety and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Manage site resources, labour, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity.
• Review construction methodologies and sequencing to improve safety, quality, and programme performance.
• Lead site coordination meetings and provide progress updates to senior management and clients.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Managers, Cost Managers, and Commissioning teams to resolve issues.
