Job summary

EXYTE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. on site seeks a Senior Construction Field Supervisor to oversee safety and EHS performance across subcontractors on multi-storey industrial/commercial projects.

You will ensure procedures are followed and manage work-permit processes while reporting to Building Engineer and Construction Manager. You will supervise subcontractors on site, attend EHS and construction meetings, coordinate sequencing, and keep the Construction Manager and planner updated on progress,

Qualifications

• NTC from ITE
• Diploma in a related Engineering discipline
• Degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering
• 8-10 years relevant experience
• Significant trade experience in the construction of multi-storey industrial/commercial buildings

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and EHS performance for subcontractors under supervision.
• Ensure safety procedures at all times and coordinate work permit applications.
• Report to Building Engineer and Construction Manager.
• Supervise assigned subcontractors and site areas.
• Attend subcontractor meetings on construction and EHS.
• Follow project SOPs.
• Coordinate sequencing with peers.
• Update Construction Manager and planner on progress and issues.
• Comply with FI process, liaising with package engineer as needed.
• Coordinate with responsible parties to ensure specs and quality standards.
• Monitor site activities and progress of contractors.
• Inspect work and assess performance and quality against codes or mock-ups.
• Interpret scope and drawings for subcontractors.
• Liaise with package owner on technical items for approvals.
• Identify and correct non-conformities and manage punch-lists.
• Familiar with MOM guidelines and Acts to resolve conflicts.
• Manage Exyte general workers on site in absence of Construction Manager
