Job summary

The role requires a degree in QS or construction management and at least seven years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of construction law and risk mitigation.
• Proven track record negotiating, drafting, and administering contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the QS team by establishing clear objectives and motivating members to achieve team goals.
• Oversee project profit and loss by monitoring contract and cost management systems to meet financial targets.
• Establish, implement, and monitor robust QS, contract administration, and cost control systems.
• Review project costing and inter-project cost to optimize resource allocation.
• Resolve contractual and cost-related issues by collaborating with QS, project teams, clients, and subcontractors to settlements.
• Own project cost and contractual settlements, ensuring compliance with contract terms and mitigating risks.
• Negotiate, draft, and administer a diverse range of construction contracts to safeguard company interests.
• Apply knowledge of construction law, contract management principles, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
