Job summary

Zurich Insurance in Singapore seeks a Senior Compliance Specialist on a 12‑month contract to lead and evolve the company-wide compliance program. You will collaborate with multiple departments to interpret regulations, advise on compliance matters, and promote an ethical culture through guidance, training, and ongoing monitoring.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance Singapore, you will coordinate projects from inception to completion, oversee sanctions screening, and respond to regulatory changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience implementing compliance programs and policies.
• Strong knowledge of local laws and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain an effective compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and assurance activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and coordinate changes with stakeholders.
• Provide oversight on sanctions screening and escalation processes.
• Deliver practical compliance advice, training and guidance to employees.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address issues and remediation actions.
• Prepare regulatory reports and filings as required.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry associations.
• Support governance, risk and audit control tasks within compliance.
