Job summary

RUNSUN SERVICE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to lead the implementation, oversight, and continuous enhancement of the company’s compliance framework.

The role collaborates with business and cross‑functional teams to embed controls, monitoring, documentation, and remediation into day‑to‑day operations. The successful candidate will own key workstreams, identify gaps and risks, challenge practices where appropriate, and drive remediation to completion.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk and controls, audit, governance, KYC/KYB.
• Experience independently managing compliance matters with business teams.
• Experience in technology, cloud infrastructure, fintech, or regulated environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of operational compliance, internal controls, KYC/KYB, and monitoring.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of implementing and enhancing the company’s compliance framework, policies, and controls.

• Coordinate periodic reviews of policies and internal guidance to reflect changes.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on, and highly organized Senior Compliance Officer to support the implementation, oversight, and continuous enhancement of the Company’s compliance framework. The role will work closely with business and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are effectively embedded into day‑to‑day operations, with appropriate controls, monitoring, documentation, and follow‑up. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of key compliance workstreams, proactively identify compliance gaps and risks, challenge business practices where appropriate, and drive remediation matters through to completion. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who combines sound compliance judgment with strong execution and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Company’s compliance framework, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Work closely with business and cross‑functional teams to embed compliance requirements into day‑to‑day operations and relevant business processes.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable requirements; proactively identify control gaps, compliance risks, and areas for improvement.
• Drive remediation of identified compliance issues and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective closure.
• Oversee KYC/KYB and customer due diligence processes, including ongoing monitoring, risk‑based reviews, and escalation of higher‑risk or exceptional cases where appropriate.
• Review key compliance matters and provide practical guidance to business teams, escalating material issues, exceptions, or unresolved matters to the Head of Compliance as appropriate.
• Monitor key compliance control points and ensure required reviews, approvals, documentation, and supporting evidence are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain appropriate compliance records, documentation, evidence, and audit trails to support effective governance and audit readiness.
• Coordinate periodic reviews and updates of compliance policies, procedures, and internal guidance to reflect evolving business activities and compliance requirements.
• Develop and coordinate compliance training and awareness initiatives across the organization and monitor completion and effectiveness.
• Support and coordinate compliance‑related audits, due diligence exercises, and information requests from relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, controls, and traceability relating to the Company’s technology infrastructure and assets.
• Maintain compliance trackers and provide regular updates to the Head of Compliance on key risks, identified gaps, outstanding matters, and remediation progress.
• Support the Head of Compliance in strengthening the Company’s overall compliance and risk management framework as the business continues to scale.
• Undertake other compliance and risk‑related initiatives as required.

Requirements

• 5‑8 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk and controls, audit, governance, KYC/KYB, or related functions.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing compliance matters and working with business teams to implement controls and remediate identified issues.
• Experience in technology, cloud infrastructure, data centers, fintech, digital infrastructure, or other regulated or control‑focused environments is preferred.
• Strong understanding of operational compliance, internal controls, KYC/KYB, customer due diligence, and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to apply sound judgment to compliance matters, identify potential risks, and determine when issues should be escalated.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and ability to constructively challenge business teams where necessary.
• Strong organizational, documentation, analytical, and project management capabilities.
• Highly detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams and priorities.
• Strong ownership mentality and demonstrated ability to independently drive matters through to completion.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑growing and evolving business environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure, data centers, technology assets, or related areas would be an advantage.
