Senior Compliance Manager – Asset Management

Job summary

AIA Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager, Compliance to provide advisory support across AIA Investment Management's activities, ensuring regulatory governance and best practices are applied to fund structures and products.

You will lead the Compliance Monitoring Program, monitor MAS developments, review marketing and product materials, and coordinate with Funds teams to address compliance comments and breaches, shaping governance across asset classes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant compliance experience.
• At least 4 years in investment/securities compliance within asset management.
• Knowledge of trading and compliance monitoring platforms.
• Strong MAS regulatory knowledge and cross-asset class experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, conducts, maintains and regularly enhances the Compliance Monitoring Program across AIAIM’s activities.
• Keep track of regulatory developments and changes and advise business on impact and regulatory changes affecting fund vehicles.
• Maintain regulatory development and reporting registers impacting fund vehicles managed by AIAIM.
• Review of marketing materials, fund prospectuses and offer documents.
• Review of new product approval forms / post-launch review materials and coordinate with Funds team on compliance comments.
• Propose enhancements to the compliance monitoring framework for alternative investments.
• Coordinate with related entity(ies)’ Compliance & Risk function for jointly-managed sub-funds.
• Provide second line feedback on regulatory implications arising from breaches and coordinate reporting with regulators.
